     Chapter 1

“Tweet, Tweet” the bird outside of Abby’s window chirped, as she climbed out of bed. Abby walked to her closet looked at the chooses and finally grabbed some jeans and a long sleeve shirt, slapped them on and slipped on some tennis shoes. Then started heading down the stairs, to be bothered by the fact that her favorite cat, Hurby, had just died. When Abby got down she ate some cereal and burst out the door. She soon reached the garage and grabbed her bike rid to the library. As soon as she got to the library, she asked the librarian if there was any new books. He answered “yes, but only two…I mean one, yes, only one.” Abby was too exited to notice how nervous the librarian seemed to be, because she loved reading so much! “Can I see them?” Abby asked. “ Well there’s only one, and it’s a children's book.” Replied the librarian. “But didn’t you say there was two?” wondered Abby aloud. “NO! There are no other books!” The librarian replied so loudly that Abby was quit surprised nobody herd it, “You said that there was another, I’m quit surtain you did!” Abby exclaimed even louder then the librarian. Now people were starting to gather, Abby noticed, and by the look on the librarians face he was also noticing, “Alright, alright there is another book, but you can’t read it!” the librarian  whispered to Abby, “At least show it to me!” Abby whispered back, “OK,OK I’ll show you just follow me.” the librarian said, and walked toured the employs-only door, mudering under his breath “Third one today that’s gotten the book, and this is the last copy. Well at least he didn’t give us all four, only three,”. Once they reached the door the librarian pushed it open , walked in and grabbed a book with the title: The Element of Helping, and said this is it. “Can I please read it?” pled Abby, “OK but be very carful with it and don’t tell any one about it!” replied the librarian. Abby grabbed the book and walked back to her bike, and on her way out the door looked back and said, “thank you” she reached the bike hopped on it and rid home.

          Chapter 2

Abby lay on the coach watching TV. She thought, “I should read that book I got at the library yesterday.” So she got to her feet and walked to her desk, grabbed the book and walked to her room, lay down on her bed and started reading. The main characters name was Amilia Talons and the story was about a girl and her friends who each read a different book.Amilia’s book is the titled The Element of Helping and when she read it she got magical earth powers. As the day went on she reached a page in chapter three covered in green ink as she leaned in closer she saw vines quickly growing out of the book, she tried to run but they had already rapt around her, he had warned her about the book, but soon they squeezed her so tight that her vision was going black, she was getting dizzy, it felt somebody had smacked her wih a  glass bottle of bubbling water!

Chapter 3

A few hours later she woke up. She jumped out of bed, “Ow, my head” she said, relizing the throbbing pain in her forehead. Abby put her hand down on the soil of a dying  flower, hoping for support, she had in her room, and suddenly it grew big soft pedals and a great big strong stem! “Ring, Ring” the phone rang, so she picked it up, it was her friend Naya, “It’s time for chess club your five minutes late.” Naya said, “I’ll head over there. Bye.” She hung up the phone and walked to the garage to get her bike.

On their way out the door, Abby took the book off her desk and placed it in to her backpack. They walked to the garage to get their bikes, as soon as they had grabbed their bikes they sped away. About five minutes later they apeared at Naya’s house, they went strait to Naya’s room. As Abby gazed around the pale blue wall at what looked like more books then the library, she noticed a book on the shelf titled: The Element of travel, “ What’s that book on the shelf?” Abby asked, “ The liberian told me I can’t tell anyone about it” Naya replied, “its OK look.” Abby said as she pulled her book out of her backpack. “ Do you know every thing about that book?” asked Naya, “Yes.” Replied Abby. “Have you read chapter three yet?” Naya protested on, “Yes, have you?” answered Abby, “Yes I have, but first you prove it then I will.” “OK” Abby put her hand on a little flower pot containing a small tomato plant and it grew tons of big juicy tomatoes, then Naya grabbed a glass of water and set it on the floor, then slowly stood up waving her hand above it and slowly the water rose in a little line after her hand then she stopped waving, and it dropped with a splash. “OK, so both of us are in this weird situation together now, but shouldn’t someone be fire or air?” Asked Abby, “I guess so… it must be up to us to find out who. So maybe we should just practice for now.” answered Naya.

It seemed she was holding a lit match, but then they realized there was no match. When the black haired girl saw them, and the flame went out. At lunch Naya and Abby talked about the mysterious girl. “I know we should tell her to meet us…” Naya stated, “At my house.” Finished Abby. “OK” agreed Naya. The two stood up and toke there trays, on the way they told the black haired girl to meet them at Abby’s house after school. Once Abby and Naya both got to Abby’s house they got some water and a dying plant to prove to the black haired girl that they had their powers if she had hers, and in a few minutes the black haired girl came. They lead her to Abby‘s room, and when they were in it Abby said “We saw want you did with the fire so don’t try and lie!” “What’s you name?” Naya asked in a much nicer tone. “ My name is Alex, and I won’t show you anything until you prove that I can show you!” “OK” Naya replied as she set her glass on the floor and slowly stood waving her hand around the glass of water, and the water followed, Abby made her dead plant grow and dye again. “ OK now I’ll show you mine.” Said Alex, she cupped her hands together and opened them and there was a flame. “ lets try putting our elements together” suggested Naya, “OK” “OK” agreed Alex and Abby. So Naya got a mettle bowl and said “1,2,3 GO!” and they shot their elements in the bowl. Once they stopped there was a weird gel in the bowl and then they saw a face. “Sorry, I can’t be there I have sent you each books, dip them in this gel and they will tell you every thing you need to know. Soon they snuck down the stairs and outside. They crept down the hill and into the forest. “I see something, come on.” Naya said as she pointed start ahead, “RUN!” Annie yelled. “owowowwwww” The girls heard a moiled howl, they turned the corner and then they saw it, there was a girl kneeling at the side of a dyeing wolf, “but wait this isn’t a normal wolf it’s paws are flaming. You can’t be here leave now!” the girl yelled angrily “NO!” Alex yelled back “We’ll show you later” Naya said “Scoot over.” Abby said as she reached down to attended to the wolfs wounds. Vines started go through the wolfs vanes “oh no!” Abby said “ The wolf is bleading very bad, but I can prevent her from dying!” Abby announced as she created a vine cast to get it somewhere safe “we’ll take care of the wolf tonight and meet here tomorrow.” Abby told the strange girl “OK” the girl agreed.

I tried to ask her but she seemed not to like the question. Maybe she got hurt and she can’t do it any more with out it making her pass out or something,” Alex finished. “Girls get down here it’s time to go!” Abby’s mom yelled, as she did there seemed to be a animal blasting through the fields.

                          The End

Chapter 1

“Owwwww” the girl new something was wrong she got out the cloths from under her bed. She jumped out her window and ran to the howling. There was another howl, but this was different almost as if whatever was howling was dropped in a bowling pot, slowly drowning while burning to ash. The girl found the wolf enveloped in fire, the girl screamed. Huge crushing gaps swirled, slowly closing in on the creature. The girl knew she had to act quickly, she did something she knew she would regret, she leaped in to the air and reached down to grab the wolf, but she didn’t land, at all.

         Chapter 2

“krrrraaaakkkkk” something rumbled, Alex woke up, “come solider” whispered a voice in the back of her mind, Alex stiffened, but she still listened; she got up and saw the wolf that she had saved the previous night. Then she saw it, giant boulders crushing down a mountain. She wasn’t sure what to think, but she wasn’t going to wait and find out. She ran as quickly as she could after the wolf. As she ran she noticed something odd, it looked like the shadow of a winged snake with two heads, but she kept just kept running. Soon, they reached a valley; the girl noticed at the bottom of the pit there was odd purple ooze. It seemed to be getting bigger, slowly filling the valley like an over-flowing teacup. As she looked over the edge she heard a rumble, she turned around and to her horror saw one of the boulders that they had been running from she jumped back out of surprise and fell in to the valley. Alex looked around desperately for a root or ledge to hold on to, but she had no such luck. The last thing she felt was the firm grasp of a hand pulling up the ice cold, still body that had once been her own.

          Chapter 3

The bright light of the sun disoriented Alex’s vision as she was shaken to wake. Once her vision cleared Alex could make out the back of a human boy sitting next to her. She herd the boy whisper to someone, or something behind a bush, “I don’t think your friend survived,” Than she slowly stood. The boy turned and exclaimed, “Your Alive?!”, “I think,” Alex replied, “but I’m not sure how I survived,” “Well it’s your friend who saved you. She said she woke up and herd you screaming, than looked out the window and saw you and your wolf friend falling down a hole.” As The boy told her what had happened, her friend Abby- who had healed Alex’s friend “The Wolf” or as Alex had found out her real name was Flame-Blower or as Alex called her “Flame” walked out from behind the bush.

         Chapter 4

“Why don’t you go look for Fang, O.K.” Abby suggested to the boy, he obeyed and ran of. “Wow, how did you get him to obey you like that?” Alex exclaimed. “ I figured out that he’s deathly afraid of people like us who can use elements like this, so I simply told him that I could, and he didn’t believe me so I made a boulder the size of a dump truck, floated it above his head and then he decided that he should listen to me,” Abby giggled. “Really, it’s that easy!” Alex laughed. “Yes, but I can’t let him find out that neither of us would hurt him, he’s the enemy. That’s why we were given these powers, they are trying to take over this world, and if he found out neither of us would be able to stop him because he would know we weren’t able to!” Abby whispered. “Do you think maybe I could also make him do what ever I say to by showing him my magic?” Alex asked. “ Yes, but not until I heal you unfortunately you can’t use any magic until your better, but I’ve been getting good at this and I’ll be able to heal you pretty quick, just come with me to the heart of the forest,” Abby ordered.

         Chapter 5

“ Could you get me some DRY wood, to make a fire with?” Alex asked, “ I have to heal you first! Remember?” Abby exclaimed. “ O.K. Just please hurry up, it’s freezing!!!” Alex shot back. Before she new it Abby had at least fifty vines, checking Alex’s vanes for the purple ooze, when it was over Abby grow a special type of plant that Alex had never seen before. Abby grabbed a clump of leaves and squeezed them so hard a odd substance spilled onto the vines and they burst back into Alex’s vanes, it stung so like a million bees scratching though her veins, Alex couldn’t move! Abby pulled the vines back out again and said, “Your healed, well at least for now,” “ Now can I make a fire!?” Alex whined. “ O.K. And here’s some wood. Oh, also we should get some rest,” Abby answered, and the two friends made their fire and went to bed.

          Chapter 6

“Thud, thud, thud,” Feet thundered agents the ground as the army surrounded them. Abby woke up, to the sound of their feet. She saw her friend up in ropes, she didn’t know what to do, so she just did the first thing that came to her mind, she disappeared into the ground.

The next thing she knew she was some where in the ground, luckily there was a small stream, but oh how she wished that Naya where there. Then what was it in the corner, was it insect, no, what she saw was a kitten, but seemed to have a purplish glow. Abby slowly approached the cat, she knew it had fell into the same purple ooze that her friend had fallen into. She slowly approached the animal, when she got to it she saw that it’s purple glow was much stronger then that of her friend. To Abby’s surprise the kitten limped over to her. “Meow” the kitten cried meekly, Abby lifted the kitten up and set it down next to the stream. She examined the delicate animal with her vines, and grew a very large flower of sunny pure colors. Abby picked the flower and filled it with the water. Then gently lay the kitten in the flower. There was a blinding light, and suddenly the flowers petals rolled in, bathing the delicate kitten in healing magic. Abby slowly unfolded soft petals of the flower to reveal a very limp, but much more alive kitten. “This is good enough for now,” she sighed.

            Chapter 6

“THOMP” Alex crashed on to the rocky-ice-cold floor with magnificent colors, as-if they were thousands of miles above the earth. “Send her to the prison of the elementals!” The beautiful lady before her exclaimed, “but wait,” Alex relized “this lady is not beautiful, beautiful cloths=yes, but not beautiful.” Her eyes had dark circles, her skin was a pale, sickly green. Then Alex was knocked out by a large club and dragged out of sight.

The dungon was dark and dusty, it felt like no living thing could possibly survive there, so Alex was quite surprised when she herd a groaning noise coming from the corner, it was a human covered  in head to foot in dirt, mud, and scratches. Then Alex relized it. It was the boy from the woods.  He looked like he was asleep, so Alex shook him awake.

Chapter 0

“It’s coming” Naya breathed, though she hadn’t been very specific, all four girls new what she meant.  A unicorn, the most dangerous of all creatures, was coming. The lake shimmered, as the unicorn appeared out of the water. The girls assumed a fighting stance as the unicorn dashed at them! Alex and flame ran toward the creature, fire blazing around them ready for battle! Only the unicorn had other ideas, he ran full blast strait at… Makenzie! The girls screamed, as the retched horn dug into her flesh. There was a loud shriek as the once beautiful Makenzie Long-Horn transformed. Her slightly tanned skin turned marble white, her hair turned stringy and green, her skin rapped around her like wet clothes, bony and tight, and worst of all her eyes turned to light pools of nothingness.

Chapter 0

Having finished his dark deed, the Unicorn dashed back through the lake, away from what it would force it’s victim to do before she ended. Makenzie’s body turned on Naya. She charged. Naya screamed as she fell limply to the ground, the marks of Makenzie’s teeth still fresh on her neck.

Chapter 0

Alex didn’t know what to think. She couldn’t clear her head. Naya, the girl who had excepted her, not excluded her for her difference, Naya, the girl who was her first real friend, Naya, the girl who had been there and helped when they discovered Flame, had fallen at the hands of Makenzie, the girl who had found the wolf first. Dased and confused, she didn’t realize quick enough that Makenzie’s body was now charging at Abby, but Abby andFlame had. Flame ran at Makenzie, knocking her down, vines rapt around her pinning her to the ground. Makenzie tore though the vines, leaving them useless at the ground. Makenzie lunged again, this time knocking aside Flame when he lunged again she knocked him aside. Abby tried to run, and Alex tried to help her, but with one flick of Makenzie’s hand Alex was twenty feet in the air and gaining altitude. Abby was tripping over herself with fright, and Makenzie was gaining on her! Finally in one last attempt Makenzie’s teeth were in Abby’s neck.

Alex new what was next. The only thing that would happen next.
